Application Process

Process for prospective families

  • Interested families are required to complete an Application Form, either online or on paper.
  • The Form must be lodged with the school office, along with a $55 non-refundable application fee. 
  • Once the application has been processed, new prospective families will be contacted to attend a Parent Information Evening.
  • After the Parent Information Evening, prospective families will be offered an individual interview with the Principal. If there are no current vacancies in the desired year level, students will be placed on a waiting list.
  • After the Principal interview, successful applicants will be offered a place in writing. 
  • Parents are required to secure their child’s enrolment by signing an Acceptance of Enrolment form and paying the non-refundable acceptance fee. 

Process for returning families

Existing Trinity Christian School families who are enrolling a sibling, are required to:

  • Complete the Sibling Enrolment Form, either online or on paper.
  • Lodge the Form with the school office, along with a $55 non-refundable application fee.
  • Wait for a place to be offered or for the child to be included on a waiting list.

Families returning to Trinity Christian School after a leave of absence, are required to:

  • Complete the Application for Re-enrolment Form, either online or on paper
  • Lodge the Form with the school office, along with a $55 non-refundable application fee.
  • Wait for a place to be offered or for the child to be included on a waiting list.

Policy

Trinity Christian School is an Independent Christian co-educational school. The following policy applies to applications for enrolment at our School:

  • All parents/guardians with children who are eligible to attend an Australian school may apply for enrolment at Trinity Christian School.
  • All applications must be in writing, otherwise they will only be considered as expressions of interest.
  • All applications are considered for enrolment and students’ names will be placed on a waiting list.
  • Being placed on a waiting list, does not guarantee a place, when a vacancy arises the following criteria are considered:
  • Sibling of existing school family.
  • Balance of Christian/non-Christian families in the year level.
  • Balance of genders in the year level.
  • Date of application and position on the waiting list.
  • Age and readiness of the applicants.
  • Ability of the school to meet the educational needs of the child.
  • Enrolment is continuous from one year to the next, so long as there is an adherence to the conditions of enrolment.
  • Students enrolling in Kindergarten must be 5 years of age by 30 April of that year.

Parents who wish to enrol their children at Trinity Christian School must be prepared to support the policies, protocols and discipline of the School.
